 Genealogy of The Millers in Ohio

The first known member of my family was a former slave born in the in  the year

1838 in Meriwether

County Georgia USA, twenty Years Before The  Emancipation Proclamation.

,He was called by the name

of Thom. The plantation owner's,sir.name was Brooks and Tom was the Property

of Mr. Brooks

(hence: Tom Brooks). The Family genealogy continue  through the next two

generations, and my mother,

Mamie Brooks was born in 1894 she  is the third generation from Tom Brooks.

I am Louis Miller,

fourth child Of Mamie Brooks Miller.and the fifth generation from Tom.

In a time span of eighty

five years from the birth of Tom until my birth. The Emancipation Proclamation

was fifty three years

Tom Brooks, a slave until his 22 birthday married Ester Brooks From that union

seven children were born. Drew  Brooks was his second child and Drew was my

mothers Father.

 Mamie Brooks was Drew Brook's second daughter and Mamie is my Mother

and I am
